[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were super excited to get this! It is amazing and the coffee is the bomb! The only thing that we were kind of disappointed with is that the coffee pods are a little expensive so it would have to be a special occasion when we will be able to buy the coffee pods. Maybe if they could make a refillable filter one to put your own coffee in that would be amazing! Other than that we were very happy with it!
Pros: Easy to Use, Has Delicious Crema, High Quality Machine, Makes Delicious Espresso Drinks (Cappuccino, Latte etc.), Appealing Design
Cons: Too Expensive

Amazing Coffee

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nespresso Vertuo Next makes some seriously amazing coffee! I live in a rural area and mostly work from home so having this machine enables me to get top notch brewed coffee any day I want! I show some size comparisons to a traditional coffee pot. This nespresso takes up less space than a traditional maker and can be slid back up against the wall and still have enough space to open under the upper cabinets. There weren’t many instructions included so I’d recommend the Nespresso YouTube channel for some great QuickStart videos. It is a bit louder than I am used to. There is an app and wifi connectivity but it doesn’t allow you to schedule a brew and I don’t see a big benefit to the app. You can order more coffee through the app and they are a bit pricey so this is my special occasion and guest coffee. The vertuo pods are newer design so there aren’t yet as many options for other branded coffee, but they seem to slowly be appearing out there! I also got a stainless steel reusable pod off that fast shipping site and it works in the machine but needs fine ground coffee to get close to the Nespresso brand level of taste from the brew. I also discovered there is a top off feature-within 45sec of finishing, press the brew button again to top off the cup. You can also unlock and lock again (without lifting the lid) and get a second, not as strong, but fills more of my cup, brew out of the same pod. I’m used to being able to select my size brew but this one chooses automatically for you based on the barcode on the pod. The lock/unlock workaround works just as well though. Love this high quality Nespresso machine!

Problem

It is very hard to push the lever into the start position. My thump hurts after doing it. It is so hard I will be surprised if it doesn’t break. My son has the Vertuo. It is very easy and smooth pushing the machine into the start position. The coffee is delicious. Better than coffee shops.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. Please make sure that the top of the machine is all the way down before trying to push the lever in its locked position. Over time it should also loosen a bit with use. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first time user of the Nespresso Vertuo Next. Everyting about the vertuo next is easy. Except closing the lid on top. I am almost positive my grandmother with arthritis would never be able to close this by herself. When brewing the pods the stream from pod to cup is consistent and doesnt go everywhere. There is a tray to hold whatever cup you chose and its adjustable. I feel like it goes far up so smaller mugs or cups can be used, I appreciate that. I have always hated coffee splashing everywhere and this helps prevent that. Vertuo Next is a one button for clean and brew, fairly easy to learn how to use it. If I dont use the machine for a few days I always run a water cycle before using and all I do is lift the lid without a pod and somehow it just knows and will run the cleaning. Im fine with the few extra minutes. (water sitting in lines grosses me out) Directions are straight forward. Im not sure if the machine doesnt get hot enough or I need to invest in a warming frother. When I put the cream in the coffee its immediately cold. I know ratio has a play in this also, I will eventually find the solution.
I almost forgot to include that this machine is VERY LOUD! Everytime I run this I am shocked by the noise that comes out of this thing. Thank goodness the cleaning and brewing doesnt take long.

Over time it should also loosen a bit with use. In terms of brewing temperature, quality is very important to us, so our machines brew the coffee to the specific parameters, and ideal temperature to brew a smooth cup, without heavy bitter or acidic taste, and avoid over-extracting the beans. Great for making espressos 40-80 mL, coffee 150-230 mL, carafe 535 mL.. compatible with Bluetooth. 500W 120V. Comes with 11 capsules of roast and ground coffee, 1 capsule of decaf. Definitely recommended.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this machine. I've been drinking Nespresso for a really long time and a few years back, I switched to the Vertuo. We used to by the large pods to fill our travel mugs and were pretty disappointed when they discontinued them. I hoped that whatever they had in the works was going to be worth it. When the Next came out, I was pumped. Now I can make a whole carafe of coffee in the morning. What an upgrade! I couldn't be happier.

The machine does take a few minutes to setup but once it’s setup it’s easy to use. The pod flips back into a waste bin that is built into the machine when you open the lid. The biggest drawback to this is I can only find pods for it online. Overall it’s a nice machine that works as should it really depends on what you want out of one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow so I love this Nespresso coffee maker. I was hesitant at first because pod coffee has not impressed me in the past. It always come out watery and bland. Not with the Vertuo Next! You would never know it was from a pod. The coffee is strong and the flavors really come through. I love that it does everything from espresso to a regular cup of coffee. Super easy to adjust the platform. It even came with a nice glass mug so you can admire the crema layer.
This thing is solid! It doesn't feel cheap or plastic. It's got a sleek look to it that blends in nicely to my kitchen but adds a bit of flair to my coffee corner. The design is modern without looking silly.
Very easy to use, I love that the pods just slide into the pod holder so you can just pull the box out when full to dispose of them. They even have a recycling program! I can't wait to try out all the different varieties, Nespresso offers a wide range of roasts and flavors. Overall I am super happy and am so excited to improve my coffee game.
