Best way to start the day

DeLonghi Vertuo Next BAD Machine!

Bought the Vertuo Next after enjoying Nespresso at my sister's house. Learned L8r there are 2 manufacturers (Breville & DeLonghi); ours being made by DeLonghi (the styles between the 2 are slightly different). After 2 months of struggling with leaks, constant "unable to recognize pod" errors, constant rinsing after 3 or 4 pods to try to recognize pods, small water reservoir, clean up the leaks, empty very small used-pod container before the copious excess coffee leaked therein overflows... it's just a bad machine. 2 stars because on the rare occasion it DOES recognize the pod, it makes delicious Nespresso coffee. Boxing it up & bought a Vertuo Plus by Breville.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We recommend running a priming cycle through your machine once a week to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. If you need assistance with your Vertuo Next, please do not hesitate to contact us through our toll-free number, 800-562-1465. Each machine comes with at least a one-year warranty and lifetime troubleshooting assistance. Thanks!
