[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter gave this to me for Mother’s Day. I was skeptical, because I am not a huge coffee drinker, but that changed, after the quality of coffee Nespresso provided. I have 1-2 coffees a day. I love it!

Coffee caused acne

I bought this coffee machine back in may, and as soon as I started drinking it daily I started to break out with acne….. I have been using it for about 6 months when I thought to stop drinking it….. and lo and behold my acne is going away! So incredibly disturbed with what can be in the coffee/pods causing acne. Now have a machine in my home with no use and tons of extra pods!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for your review. We share your disappointment that you've experienced issue with your Nespresso VertuoNext machine. If you are concerned about potential sensitivity to coffee, we advise you to consult your healthcare provider. All capsules contain dried ground coffee with no other preservatives. Flavor Variations are prepared using a very fine flavoring powder, which is added to the coffee after grinding. The tastes have been recreated using a blend containing natural substances derived from plants. They contain no preservatives or sweeteners. The flavorings are all made from natural ingredients. The flavors that we use for our coffee have been scientifically evaluated to pose “no safety concern” by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). We do not use any of the E.U. banned flavoring substances. We can confirm that any references to “nutty,” “milk,”, “sugar”, or “cocoa” notes are components of the aromatic profile which are naturally occurring within the bean. These notes do not suggest their physical presence in the coffee. Purchases made in-store at Nespresso Boutiques can be returned within 30 days of purchase with receipt and must be unused/unopened. Online purchases cannot be returned. If you need any further assistance or troubleshooting support with the machine, please call 800-562-1465. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Take it back

Received for Christmas, i really don’t care for fancy coffee. Its just another way for companies to make money. Coffee is coffee. Most definitely taking this back. Looked really lowbudget for the price. And the pods are too expensive.

We recommend running a priming cycle weekly through your machine to assist with keeping the taste, texture, body and aroma in each brew. We also recommend descaling your machine every three months or 300 capsules, whichever comes first. Not what I expected

I bought this about 2 months ago because of the high ratings. I hate the frothy coffee. Just a plain coffee and cream girl here. Going to give it away. No one in my family wants it. Not sure how to get rid of it. I have a lot invested with many coffee pods. What a shame.
