Not durable

Great for the 1.5 years it worked. The pods were overpriced but worth it. The machine is not worth it when you have to buy a new one every 1.5 years because Nespresso can't make a machine that is durable enough. I started looking at reviews to buy a new/different Nespresso machine, looks like they have this problem across the board.

I am disappointed with this machine.

I bought it over ten days ago and the crop is getting lift or elevated leaving a gap. Smells like the plastic cap burnt. I noticed that this machine doesn’t heat the coffee enough.

Just ok

The style is great and it's easy to use, but I'm still returning it to the retailer. The coffee it dispenses is just not hot. It's lukewarm at best. Even with espresso, I am having to microwave it right after brewing to get it up to temperature. It's upsetting because my mom and sister have Nespresso machines (different models) and don't seemingly have this issue. I will be investigating other options.

Keurig has better quality machines

My first nespresso died within 6 months of use, and the replacement they sent me is completely defective. Plus they had me on the phone for 30 minutes opening and closing a brand new machine that has never even brewed - I could have told you it was broken. Ended up wasting all those aluminum pods I bought and I've switched back to my Keurig (which I've had for years, and never had issues with).
Nespresso says "descaling and cleaning are necessary to upkeep our machines". Well, I did both and my machine didn't even live 6 months.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not a fan of the Vertuo Next:

Wish I would have gotten the original machine again because that was great. This Vertuo Next is not:
1) the lock part is hard to maneuver. It actually hurts my hand to push down & turn the lever so I need two hands to twist it.
2) the water tank is hard to snap in and really hard to pull the tank out.
3) the water tank's location in the back of the machine is awful. It's hard to reach & also because of #2.
Would not buy this; nor recommend.

Good but don't last long

Worked fine for a year then started to get some issues. Les than 2 years and it is out of order. The same issues as other are describing . I was hoping for a longer use as we are only 2 of us and drink coffee only few times a week. Will try another model. Hopefully it will last longer.

Bought in 2021…had so many problems with the machine since then. Like girl, I’m just trying to make my morning coffee!!! Super unreliable and not worth the hassle of purchase
