Machine worked fine for a couple of months. Broke down and refuses to brew coffee. Wasted so many pods trying to figure out what was wrong. Mind you there is only one button so how difficult can it be. It doesnt matter how many times you reset or (deep) clean the machine.
We had the machine replaced for a new one a week ago and had the same problem instantly. 0/10 would not recommend this machine at all.
I am a loyal Nespresso customer but this machine is not it. Buy a different model

Horrible purchase

purchased the virtuo next just before christmas. it worked well for the first month. loved the coffee. then no matter what we did, descale, cleaning, resetting to factory settings, cleaning all aspects of the inside on a daily basis, help from the troublershooting folks at nespresso, this machine is unreliable and won’t brew. the white light comes on then the red light blinks twice, meaning that it is unable to recognize the pod in it. Have replaced with a new pod but always with the same result. the troubleshooting people keep won’t allow a replacement to the machine until they try to make it work. Even after all of this, I have given up on the machine and nespresso. I do NOT recommend the purchase of this machine.

Open the upper head unit and carefully grab around the rotating unit to rotate it all the way around one way, then all the way around the other way, until the rotating unit spins easily. Insert your Nespresso capsule, and ensure the lever is fully locked with a slight click sound. Firmly press the cup button once and the coffee will dispense shortly. For best maintenance for your Vertuo Next, we recommend to always eject the used capsule after every use, run the Clean Cycle once a week to eliminate coffee grounds build up within the brew unit, and descale your machine every three months. All removable spare parts, including the water tank, should be washed by hand at least once a week. The Vertuo Next comes with a one-year warranty and a lifetime of troubleshooting support through Nespresso. Don’t buy the Vertuo Next model!

I’ve had this Nespresso next machine for less than two years and it really has been temperamental out if the box. Today it started throwing error messages and flashing the message it needed to be cleaned, despite the fact it was descaled last week and is cleaned regularly. I treat the machine well and only use filtered water and clean it regularly. This model was purchased for my home office and is a bust! I would not recommend purchasing it. For reference, I’ve had a Vertuo Evoluo model that’s run without issue for four years and makes better tasting coffee than the Next model that broke.

I got this machine as a gift , too date the expresso is warm NOT HOT , going to call Nespresso to see if they have any explanation why ??

Risky Product

Poison yourself with microplastics! I did with this device for 2 years without understanding the risks. Should come with warning label, as dangerous as cigarettes at this point. They refuse to make one out of metal and glass, I won't use nespresso.

I LOVE the flavor of the coffee it makes (other than it's lukewarm), but it decides when to work which isn't often. It's less than a year old and I didn't want to fuss with the return (seeing that others are on their 4th machine with all the same stupid issues). It makes one cup a day IF that. It flashes and I have tried and tried and tried but I am DONE. It's not worth the frustration when in the morning I'd just like a cup or two of coffee. SO disappointed. I literally just threw it in the trash. What a waste of money. DO NOT BUY!!!!! Trust the bad reviews, they are sadly true. I don't think I'll be buying any Nespresso ever again.

My first Vertuo Next broke within two weeks and my replacement is acting up after two months. This machine does not brew hot coffee, started leaking and overflowing at the top seams and now will not even turn on.

Terrible - Disappointed twice, don’t waste money

Machine stopped working after a few months of use. Overall really dissatisfied with this product. Orange light began blinking and can’t be resolved so Nespresso sent refurbished product, after a week same thing happened with new machine. After doing some research seems the orange light malfunction occurs regularly. Don’t waste your money!
