The remote control needs to be improved.

TV is great. Everything is fine except for the remote control. It is too simple and needs time to figure out how to use it sometimes. Maybe I am not that smart anymore.

Great, love the TV. I would give it 5 stars but I can because the app store is missing some pretty big apps. I had to buy a fire stick just so I could watch football on the NFL app. I don't understand how the biggest tech company in the world doesn't have access to all of the biggest apps. Other than that I love the TV especially the new remote.

I'm sorry you have encountered issues when downloading the Paramount + app. Please try the below steps to resolve any performance issues.
First, let's ensure you are running the latest Firmware. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.
You may also want to further optimize performance with the self-diagnostic tool, which checks memory, frees up unused cached memory, and closes background apps. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Device Care > Start Device Care.
Finally, let's try running a cold boot on your TV. To do so, hold down the Power button on the Samsung TV remote until the TV turns off and then on again. This should take about 5 seconds.

Use Smart Things on Your Phone as the Remote

Excellent picture and sound. Very poor remote. Samsung needs to improve the remote and it functionality. However, Smart Things has a remote that is very good. Forget the remote. Use you phone. Smart Things even has the ability to make it accessible. Smart things saved me from returning the TV. I read a lot of reviews about the TV before buying it. Many of them mention the remote is difficult to use. That should be enough to get Samsung to improve their remote. I am thankful that I can use my phone as the remote in Smart Things. That saved the day.

Don’t buy it

This TV is not user-friendly. The remote completely sucks and you can’t cast you’re stuck with AirPlay and then it freezes cuts out. The picture quality was better on my 10 year old Vizio. Totally regret buying it!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Remote does not work.

TV is great! Remote is not--volume control does not work--I cannot make it louder or quieter. Two options: mute or where the volume is. Had to download a remote on my phone. I don't like having to pay extra for the remote and want to know why the remote itself will not adjust volume? Not good. Not necessarily sure I would purchase again.

Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about the issues you are experiencing with your remote. Please try the following troubleshooting steps:
First, please remove the batteries from your remote, and then hold the Power button for eight seconds to reset the remote. Then, reinsert the batteries and try to use the remote again.
Next, Check if the remote is sending an IR signal. Take either a digital camera or use the camera on your phone or tablet. Point the remote at the camera, and then press and hold the Power button on the remote. As you hold the button down, look at the camera's screen. If the remote is sending an IR signal, you will see a colored light coming from the remote control.
If you do not see the IR light, replace the batteries with fresh ones and try again. If you still do not see the IR light, then replace the remote.

Just ok bcuz of remote controls.

So far so good except for the remote controls. They are the the worst I’ve ever encountered. I can’t ‘feel’ the points of contacts - can’tvsense if I’ve successfully pushed the button or not. Bought all three tv’s the same day - had O known how awful the remotes are I’d think twice.
