The remote is almost useless. I guess you were trying to make it simple, but it’s way too simple and it doesn’t allow me to do some of the things I wish to do. Maybe you ought to rethink that.

Worst Interface / Menu system of any tv. Don't buy

Good picture but the most horrible and confusing user interface I have ever seen. If you want to spend hours trying to figure out how to add an app to your home screen or to remove all the spammy recommendations only to find out you can't then you might like this TV. All basic functions are buried in the worst menu system I have ever used. in any electronic device.

Great addition to our home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV was purchased to replace another Samsung TV we had for over 10 years. Excited to add it to our Master Bedroom area as the main focus piece in the room. With a 55" display, it can be seen from all areas in the room. We are very pleased with the picture and sound quality. Really like the new technology advacements that Samsung has put into their products. Now we can control the device with our smartphone. This is a great feature since we often get busy and forget to turn the unit off when leaving the room.

I'm sorry for any confusion about controlling your Samsung DU7200 TV with a voice remote. You are correct; the DU7200 does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.

Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hoped for more/better from this TV. It was under 600 for a 60in. I guess that gets you little in the terms of clarity and crystal clear viewing. Its just a huge lack of quality.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the picture quality of your DU7200D TV. To ensure you’ve got the latest image quality updates, please confirm that your TV is up to date with the latest firmware version. You can check by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

If the picture you’re seeing is still not to your liking after updating firmware, there are several picture settings you may want to try adjusting.

Go to Home > left direction button > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
1. Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
2. Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments
3. Eco: Provided to save energy
4. Movie: Suitable for watching TV or movies in a dark room
5. Filmmaker Mode: Provides source content just as the creators intended. If the image is defined as Filmmaker Mode, it’ll automatically switch to Filmmaker Mode while watching.

You can also fine-tune your picture with expert settings such as brightness, contrast, sharpness and more (All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings).

Not what I expected

I bought this DU7200 75 inch a couple weeks ago. All reviews were good is the reason I bought it. Didn't realize it is a very entry level TV. I can't connect my older Bose system to it or my new Bose sound bar because it doesn't have optical or rca connections. I did connect the sound bar via Bluetooth just to find out the sound does not sync with the picture. I even bought an audio converter only to find out it wouldn't work either. wish I had kept my older Samsung that worked perfectly. I just wanted a larger tv. Lesson learned on my part that what seems to be good is not always what you get.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung DU7200 TV. To address the audio delay, you may want to try the Audio Pass-Through feature. This feature allows the audio signal to be sent out unprocessed to an external Soundbar or receiver connected to the TV. The external Soundbar or receiver then processes the audio, thereby eliminating the added step of processing by the TV, which adds delay.

To activate this feature, go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Digital Output Audio Format > set to Pass-Through.
