By far the best TV I've own. I've definitely fallen asleep in my living room a few times too much, just can't seem to leave it.

Awesome picture quality, features, and apps

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm still learning all the features on the TV. I'm a movie buff and love the movie experience in my own home. I stubbled upon some free videos including some related to health and fitness--perfect for new year's resolutions/goals. The TV set-up process was effortless considering the last Samsung tv that i had. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the surround sound is as robust as my previous Samsung tv. I have to really turn up the volume to 30+ for that movie experience. Also, the instructions for connecting an external receiver (with surround sound) are not clear. I will do some more research to figure it out because this TV is still a keeper. This model also has more storage than my previous TV which is another plus so I'm able to add more apps.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a very good choice for a television. Am very pleased with pic. quality ease of setup. Connected to WiFi very easy procedure. Love the Samsung channels built into their sets. I haven’t made it to the end of the list yet. I start scrolling to see how many channels their are and end up finding something to watch.

Good picture, good tuner, good price

Just got one. Manuals are spare, and on-line only. Only 3 hdmi ports. Way too much stress put on "smart" features. Great picture. 0K sound. Almost no conrols on the tv: most are on the remote, or require using software menus.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Crappy remote. Why no Mic? No access to mic. What was the reason? A basic feature that has been around for a very long time. Can be used with Alexa, oh goody. A device that gets things wrong a large percentage of the time and conversations end with yelling, so yay, put two lacking devices together so a company can save a few pennies. Also nothing intuitive about this interface, regret purchase is a challenge everyday.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your purchase and understand your frustration. We are sorry for any confusion regarding voice assistants. You are correct, the DU7200 does not have voice assistants built in. However, they do work with Alexa. You can connect them to your existing Alexa device to ask them to turn on your TV, change channels, control volume, and more.

Our DU8000 TV Series and above offer voice command and built-in voice assistants.

We also understand there can be a learning curve when you get a new TV! This is why we have built a guide built into the TV that teaches you how to use your remote.

You can learn how to use your Samsung Remote by going to Home> (left directional button) Settings> Support> Remote Control Guide.

Don't switch from Roku

I have been a Roku girlie for 10 years but then got gifted a larger Samsung tv. Samsung's interface is not as user friendly as Roku and definitely not as pretty. The home screen also aggressively pushes Samsung TV and their options - I don't care, I just want my apps. The remote is also limited given the app version of the remote has a worse UX and UI than the actual TV. The TV shows microphone capabilities but the remote does not have that function. I am giving this 3 out of 5 stars because at least the picture is decent and sound is fine. But otherwise, this TV is unnecessarily complicated.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
