Fantastic Picture

I purchased my first 55” a couple of years ago as a gift to my niece. I was drawn to it because of the dozens of TV’s on display the clarity and definition really stood out. I purchased a 65 and another 55” recently for my home. The picture is simply astounding. It far outpaced the competitors QLED TV’s. I have recommended Samsung to friends and neighbors. They were all pleased with the quality and value.

Hi Banker,

Thank you for sharing your experience with low volume. There are several volume features you can adjust, which may improve your audio experience.

1) Auto Volume automatically adjusts the sound to a certain level when changing channels or switching to another external input. Go to Settings > All Settings> Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume.
2) Adaptive Sound automatically adjusts to a specific volume level while watching TV. The TV analyzes your volume usage history by time period to automatically adjust the volume when you use an app or switch to an external input source. Go to Settings> All Settings> Sound> Sound Mode> Adaptive Sound.
3) Several Sound Modes are likewise available to meet your personal preferences: Home > Settings > All Settings> Sound > Sound Mode.

Also, some sources have their own volume control, which might need to be set higher. Please check the volume control of the external device (cable box or satellite box, DVD, Blu-ray, etc.) connected to your TV. Also, check the cable connection between an external device and the TV and then try the cable connection again.

I am amazed at the picture quality of this tv. The set up was fast and easy. It also comes with a plethora of streaming options, my only small issue would be inability/difficulty add Paramount + to tv.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Beautiful picture!

The unit has a beautiful picture, but as far as ease of use, that's another story. I have 4 Samsung TV's and this one for some reason is very difficult to navigate. I can't add apps that I view and always have to go to search to find them, which is annoying.

Contrast issues

Pictures quality could be a bit better really have a hard time seeing it if filmed in a dark mode. I can’t adjust the contrast as much as needed.
Also it would be helpful if it came with an actual physical manual.

I’m sorry to hear you’re not fully satisfied with the DU7200 TV’s picture quality. If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.

First, let’s ensure you are running the latest Firmware Update. Go to Settings> Support> Software Update.

Next, If the colors on your TV are correct but just a little too dark or bright, you can try adjusting Picture Modes, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.

For darker scenes, I recommend Dynamic Picture Mode, which makes pictures brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments. Go to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Picture Mode > Dynamic.

Or you can manually adjust the Brightness by pressing the HOME button on your remote, then navigating to Settings > All Settings> Picture > Expert Settings.

You may also want to disable Power Saving Mode, which automatically adjusts the brightness to reduce the TV’s power consumption. Go to Settings > All Settings> General > Eco Solution> Power Saving Mode.

Very bad glare experience

Very poor screen appearance for the money I paid for this TV. Very unhappy.
There is a very obvious, blatant light bulb refection on the TV screen that is caused by a standard basic light fixture located on the ceiling nearby where the TV is set up. The light's glare on the TV screen is always present and makes for a horrible viewing pleasure. Your TV screen should have been designed much better so that it reflected.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We appreciate your feedback on screen reflections with the Samsung DU7200 TV. Room lighting plays a significant role in how reflections appear, and while we aim to reduce glare where possible, complete elimination isn't guaranteed.

For improved glare control, we recommend repositioning the TV to avoid direct light or consulting a professional installer. Samsung’s Glare Free screen is available starting with the QN90F Neo QLED 4K, while Anti Reflection technology is included on select models beginning with the S85F OLED and above.
