Not tech savvy so still learning how much smarter tv is than me. The technology is so amazing compared with my family's first tv in 1956, a 13" blk& wht tv with no remote.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not a consistent experience across Samsung sets

I have had this set for about a month. It is in my family room and is a size upgrade from a 55" Samsung. I have a total of five Samsung Smart TV sets. This one has a nice and bright picture but does not have an optical out (I assumed it did as my other Samsung sets have it) so I had to use an HDMI which is not my preference. The remote controls are simple and easy to navigate.
The primary reason that I have five Samsung sets, other than they are a decent brand) is that all remotes are essentially the same and I wanted the same experience when using the smart functions as I have cut the cord. While the operation of the menus is similar for each set, I cannot get them to act the same way despite having the settings set the same. Among the things each do are: opening at the home menu, opening on the last used app, opening on the home menu then going to the last app and one will only open to Samsung TV (which I do not use). Also, sometimes, it takes a few minutes (yes, MINUTES) for some of the sets to find my network--other sets on the same network connect right away. That's annoying.
So, I like the sets but wish I could get them all to act in the same manner.

We bought a Samsung TV because there was a samsung tv in our new RV we bought and fell in love with the tv. We love the features and the programming.

Good TV for the price

I bought this Samsung for my bedroom. It's a very nice TV with good picture quality. The only thing I don't like is the remote. In my opinion it isn't user friendly compared to remotes on other brands like Vizio.

I like all the free channels; The only problem I was loosing internet connection with my WIFI and I was picking up unknown bluetooth connection; WIFI Has to reboot.

Nice TV, but lack compatibility with older devices

Like this TV, however the TV has fewer device connection ports that my older TV had. I am still unable, unsure how to hook up my Blu-ray, vhs, sound bar and cd players.
