Annoying cracking sounds

I should have bought a higher end model. TV makes annoying crack sounds when turning it off. Samsung service exchanged all possible electronics, speaker etc. and TV continues making weird. Racking sounds. TV not recommended.

We appreciate you sharing your experience regarding an unusual sound coming from your TV. The cause may vary depending on where the sound is coming from and how your system is set up.

• If the sound is coming from your TV speakers, or if you're using an external audio device like a soundbar, please double-check that the audio cable is securely connected to the correct audio output on the external device.
• If you're using an antenna or cable connection, a weak signal may result in sound distortion. You can check your broadcast signal level by going to: Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Broadcast Signal
• If the sound seems to come from the back of the TV, it may be the result of thermal expansion or contraction of the outer casing. This can cause a soft popping noise and is considered normal - it does not indicate a malfunction, and your TV remains safe to use.

We also recommend running a Sound Test to check for audio issues: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Device Care > Self Diagnosis > Sound Test

OVERALL...I LIKE THE TV. BIGGER THAN I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE. DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY MY PROVIDER WAS NOT LISTED (FRONTIER) AND I HAD TO PICK COX TO GET THE TV TO WORK. SO SEEING COX IS ANNOYING. MAIN SCREEN KEEPS CHANGING TO STUFF I NEVER WILL WATCH OR USE. MY SOUNDBAR WOULD NOT PAIR WITH THE TV. BECAUSE IT WAS NOT A SAMSUNG OR WHATEVER WAS LISTED. SETTINGS NAVIGATION IS DIFFICULT. SOMETIMES A MESSAGE WILL POP UP FOR NO REASON AND I HAVE NO CLUE AS TO WHY. I CAN NEVER BE SPEEDY ENOUGH TO GET UP TO ACTUALLY SEE WHAT IT SAYS. WISH IT HAD VOICE COMMAND.

Great picture. Had many compliments about the picture being so clear. Only complaint is wish the sound could be louder. Hooked up a sound bar and that helps. Good deal for the money.

Like my old Samsung much better. Speaker in this new one is really bad. Have to turn the volume up to 80-90 on some programs to even hear it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thank you for purchasing Samsung’s DU7200 TV and for sharing your feedback regarding low volume. To start, we recommend making sure your TV is running the latest firmware, as updates can include improvements to sound performance: Home > left directional key > Settings > Support > Software Update

If volume levels still seem too low, you can improve sound performance by adjusting a few key settings:

Sound Mode: Navigate to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode

Auto Volume: This feature helps maintain consistent volume levels across content and input sources. Turn it on under: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume = On

You can also explore Expert Settings to fine-tune sound output with adjustments for Balance, Equalizer, and more.

If you’re considering enhancing your setup, Samsung’s Q- and S-Series Soundbars (like the HW-xxx) feature Q-Symphony, which syncs your TV and soundbar speakers for a fuller, more immersive sound experience.

I had a Samsung Flat Screen before, and I love them. I recently purchased a little larger screen but struck with Samsung because of the quality and ease of on-screen instructions. Very well made TV.
