The cheap version is very difficult to handle with the swiping on the side.I also have the more expensive version and they are great

Not too shabby

Set up was a little tricky to get connected to WiFi. But after that it works great. It’s disconnected once and I just had to turn the thermostat off then on. I love that I can watch the temp on the app.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is pretty awesome. It's nice that it has different schedules and will track when we are coming home so that it will adjust the temperature. I haven't figured out how to change my comfort temperature and that has been a bit frustrating.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Google nest thermostat

Keeps going off line. Nothing is wrong with my internet service yet I have to reset a couple of times a week.

Connectivity issues can be caused by different factors like location and distance of Nest device, Wi-Fi router, outdated phone and Nest app. This may also be caused by Wi-Fi network congestion, and Wi-Fi interference with other devices and/or networks. Removing other devices from your Wi-Fi might help.You can also try setting up your Nest Thermostat on either the 2.4GHz or 5GHz bands and see which band is more reliable.
If still unresolved, we may need to take a closer look at your device. You can contact our support team here anytime: https://support.google.com/googlenest/gethelp

Good thermostat hard to switch wifi

I have been using the next thermostat for about a year and it has worked great. being able to control it from my phone upped my dad game and I instantly know if someone touched it. I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't a complete pain to switch the wifi on.

pain in the butt to install

doesn't work with old systems, pain in the neck to wire and difficult to get it to connect to my phone.
