So easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the G2 so much! It was easy to install, and I did it myself, which is saying a lot! The thermostat and the app work seamlessly and it was easy to figure out how to use them. The options and settings are great and I love how my house starts to warm a little when I wake and start cooling down for sleep! And, it's not ugly and fits in with the look of my modern minimal home perfectly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Very good but not the best

This Nest does just about everything right. I have owned the learning thermostat in the past and the feature I miss the most is regularly running the fan at set intervals e.g. 15 mins every hour. With this Nest, I have to use the app to manually turn it on for a set amount of time. Very inconvenient.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Worst Nest by Far

This is the worst Nest thermostat (Nest Pro model). I’m a Nest Pro and install a lot of Nest thermostats and I like nest products. This one is bad. You have to use the homeowners phone to set this one up, bad idea!! I also had issues with one not detecting some of the wires installed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Awsome I can adjust from my cell phone , it’s convenient for me no need to walk upstairs to adjust that unit

Simple and Clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installation was a breeze with the assistance of the YouTube video Google created. Setup was pretty straightforward as well. All in all, it took me about 15-20 minutes. Not bad! It looks fantastic and the app is very user friendly.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not As Described

Thermostat has a rather cheap feel to it and makes it feel easily breakable.We purchased this unit specifically because it's battery operated and we knew we didn't have a C wire. Despite being advertised as an option for thermostats that don't have a C wire, even this thermostat doesn't work without the C wire.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This has made a big difference for me as I live in an old apartment building with an ancient furnace. I love being able to schedule the temperatures from my phone!
