Changed my heating game

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting a Nest for so long and I’m so happy that I finally got one. I had so many issues with my heating unit before I got my Nest. First off, my last unit was super confusing and I rarely understood what setting I had it on. It used to randomly turn on or off without me changing any settings. I used to forget to turn it off at night and I would waste tons of electricity heating a room that had nobody in it. I’m super happy that my Nest has solved all my heating issues. It has an easy to understand interface, I can easily set the times I want it heating, I can control it from my phone, etc. Oh and it was also super easy to set it up. I was able to connect the Nest by myself.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest Thermostat G2 - Fantastic!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nest Thermostat G2 - Chalk We just completely remodeled our home. This NEST Thermostat is exactly what we were looking for. It is extremely easy to hook up - no issues at all. It is very easy to control. We both still work ( for fun and because we love it ) so this has already saved us a ton of $$$. We run it cold at night and moderate during the day. It turns on a little bit before we get home. What a wonderful tool for saving $.

Horrible

1st Device was sent out and had it installed. It was a defected device so they sent a replacement backing plate and they said the device was fine. Had it installed again and the same thing, the heating kept coming on when the cooling setting was on. Horrible horrible. In the process of recontacting the support again

this is the best product ever! control your heat/ac from your phone home or away! Never heat or cool when away save money set times to run and shut off be eco friendly. wish I had bought this years ago. Very easy install.

It's a good thermostat but seems hard to set

Could be better

The Nest Thermostat temperature sensing mechanism has limited sensing capabilities. It only senses the temperature in the room it's installed and Nest Temperature Sensors are not compatible.

Nest Thermostat 2020 is junk

Replaced a 7 year old Nest thermostat, as there were issues being commanded out of ECO mode. Decided to go with new Nest 2020 (basic) thermostat. Long story short, after several calls and hours of interaction with Nest techs and supervisor tech, and two different Nest 2020 thermostats, my furnace control was still not trustworthy/was intermittantly not functioning as expected.I had a furnace company tech out to my house to triple check the voltages coming from my wires. All was OK. But he did tell me many issues with Nest 2020's in the field that he's seen. We discussed and i decided to go with a SENSI thermostat, and take the Nests back to the store. I need a thermostat that works ALL THE TIME, NOT INTERMITTANTLY! Sorry Google, you have a junk product with Nest 2020 thermostat.
