Not compatible with brand new unit

Not compatible with brand new unitZero stars. You would think google would be cutting edge they are not
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Elegance and lower bills!

I love the Google Nest thermostat! Once I got it installed it has worked beautifully, as well as being beautiful. Somehow it feels like my house cools more quickly and efficiently, and my electric bill has been lower too. Highly recommend!

Google nest

Upon receiving the nest I realized I could not use it because it required a “C” wire connection. Hence I had to PURCHASE a C wire in order for the nest to work. Fast forward, the nest operating instructions are difficult to understand unless you’re an electrician. Upon installing I could not get the nest to consistently reach the desired temperature. I really wanted this to work so that I could conserve energy, save money, etc. Today I purchased a Honeywell programmable thermostat. It works great. No additional equipment to purchase, heat turned on immediately and to the temperature I set. No headaches, no stress. Thank you Honeywell.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing thermostat. It’s really stylish and easy to use. The installation was easy. The app is really user friendly and intuitive. If you don’t own an smart thermostat, you should jump on that wagon quick, and if you’re going to get one, get this one.
