Disapointed

Have a 2 wire 24 volt system, read that I should be able to still use this thermostat but all I got were error codes. Luckily I was able to return it. No thanks

Nest Thermostats are designed to work with most 24 V systems, even older systems. They work with all common fuel types including natural gas, oil, and electricity. However, some systems may require a common wire (C wire) or the Nest Power Connector. You can check more information here: g.co/nest/cwire

Nest Thermostat Review

Unfortunately, the inability of this thermostat to handle additional sensors makes it completely not usable in our home. This is a huge step backwards since the google acquisition of NEST and represents a rare backwards move that forced us to abandon Google/NEST thermostats.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not able to add to Nest app

Unable to add to nest app. This thermostat version is only capable of Google home and not Nest app. That stinks because some of my thermostats are on Nest and now one on Google home. Stupid
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Works as expected

Definitely helped lower my monthly bill. It is a nice product that works as expected. The only pain you might encounter if you have to change the network once installed.

My life has been simplified, this product has made my home easier to monitor and my kids who are used to haptics to control their iPads/Android tablets so it was very easy

SO FAR SO GOOD....WE TRAVEL TO DIFFERENT LOCATIONS SO WE HOPE THAT THIS THERMOSTAT WORKS BECAUSE WE WILL BE ABLE TO REMOTELY TAKE CARE OF OUR HEATING/COOLING NEEDS REMOTELY. ALSO WILL BE ABLE TO MONITER THE TEMPERATURE OF OUR HOMES.
