Unbelievable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I cannot believe how wonderful this thermostat works for me. The fact that I was able to install it on my own was just a bonus. I don't understand the fancy wording, but somehow I got it done. The nest has been working so well, and have not one complaint.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest thermostat

It was a little more difficult than the hub to install (good instructions for wiring, and pretty straight forward anyway). It is causing some grief - we are home all day, everyday, and it keeps changing to eco mode and resetting to 56 degrees. Tried to find a way to disable this mode, but no luck so far. Other than that it works well with the hub and is easy enough to reset temps.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Why wouldn’t it allow you to use nest app?

Why wouldn’t it allow you to use nest app? I have 2 devices one allows second does not.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Although this was a hard decision for us as well, we wanted to provide better integration for the Nest Thermostat with our ecosystem. This means you get a better experience using Nest Thermostat together with our other products and features like adding it into your ready-made or personalized Routine. It's as simple as saying ""Hey Google, bedtime"", and the Google Assistant can do the following:
- Put your phone on silent (only when initiated via an Android device)
- Tell you about tomorrow's: Weather, first calendar event, set an alarm, adjust lights, plugs, play your favorite relaxing music, including your Nest Thermostats preferred sleeping temperature and more.

For the price and the features, it has, there should be no reason for anyone to buy anything more expensive than this. I like having a smart home, but not smart home prices. The only issue I have is that, is I wish there was separate app to control the temperatures.

Nearly Perfect

First smart thermostat for me. The big plus with this one is it does not require a C cable to work (as I do not have one currently connected). Setup was easy, but lacked and instructions in the box. Would recommend.
