So much better than the Nest Learning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used to have the Nest Learning thermostat and I hated it! I hated the fact that it wouldn't stop learning. LOL! I was constantly fighting with the old one and it never would accept the temperature I actually wanted. I love that the G2 thermostat actually does what I need it to do and that I can adjust the temp from my phone with the app and rarely touch the actual thermostat. I love being able to adjust the temperature from my bed or from the couch, especially when I'm too cold to move from my cozy warm spot. I had to get help with initial set up not only installing the thermostat but also setting up the app. Luckily, my other half is much more tech savvy than I am. I love the simplicity of this thermostat. I can set a schedule or adjust it if I don't like the current temp. I live in Texas and it can go from really hot to really cold overnight so we are constantly having to adjust the temperature which is why the Learning thermostat just didn't work for us. I love the way it looks as well as functions. It's truly a great thermostat!

We love the Nest thermostat. It is stylish, ones in a variety of colors, can be set to different temperatures throughout the day, and best of all it can be controlled from my phone when I'm home or away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Install was a breeze and instructions/wiring diagrams were very clear. Programming was very simple and being able to control via my phone is so convenient.

So easy to set up and use. Could not be happier with it. There is nothing much to say about it. It's just a perfect thermostat for me.If I had an improvement, be able to set the display to show additional information. Outside temp, in and out humidity.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nest Thermostat

I don't know what took me so long to buy and install the Nest! This thermostat is programmable for daytime and nighttime hours and this can also include weekend hours Nest offers Eco settings to help cut your heating/cooling costs. I think the best part is the ability to control your home temperature remotely from your phone using the Google Home app. Highly recommend!

Love the remote control capabilities

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Got this thermostat to add to my google home collection. I have been pleasantly surprised with the ease of installation, ease of set up, and most of all the control it provides over maintaining the temperature in my house no matter where I am. I have been able to adjust my thermostat while on vacation to ensure I am not using any more power or fuel than needed. I highly recommend this product to any but especially to those that travel a lot.

There is no easily visible way to hold a temperature while you're away from your home for any length of time.
