Almost Great

I love the Nest thermostat, however the setup is confusing, as you don't need a Nest account to set it up. Just migrate all Nest functions to Google Home and call it a day. Also, a MAJOR irritation, is it still doesn't always connect to my Home devices, I'll ask it the temperature, it will sometimes respond, sometimes it'll say the device hasn't been set up yet. I still recommend it, despite that flaw.

I would like it to hold a temperature for a set time and not continue until the temperature is reached. Sometimes I just want to cool off with cold air for half an hour

Never get up to adjust the thermostat again.

The WIFI aspect of this device alone makes it worth it. Priced slightly more than a "dumb" thermostat, this device is really slick. Installation was easy to figure out (like a dummy I didn't realize it walks you step by step through the install process when you start it up BEFORE installation. Most went smoothly except I mixed up the O

It's great except....

My nest thermostat gives me an error message at least once per week. I have to physically reset the thermostat to get it to connect to my app again. It's not great for controlling my thermostat while away from the house.
I would recommend this to a friend!
