Great device but needs more documentation

Not compatible with two wire systems. Get a transformer and YouTube the install. Had to add a common and 24v power supply transformer available online. Documentation is poor and support is worse. Ended up jamming two wires into one port, not something intuitive. Took 8 hours of trial and error but finally worked. Love the app.

Not easy to use initially!

It was not easy to set up and it is not working properly. The setting of the thermostat initially is very difficult. It doesn’t do the simplest task; to keep the house warm.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product that performs as advertised.

Great product. Formerly owned Ecobee thermostats, but switched to Nest and am very pleased with the upgrade. Exceptionally easy to use and very easy to install.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Disappointing

Very disappointed that a "Nest" thermostat does not work with the "Nest" app. Ridiculous!

Nest Thermostat can only be set up and controlled with the Google Home App. This was part of the design to simplify both the set up, use and integration for the Nest Thermostat with our ecosystem. Using the Google Home app also provides you with a lot of benefits including access to Google's trusted security platform and access to other Google tools.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great thermostat! It was easy to install and easy to set up. Very user friendly and works well. I love having an app for the thermostat. An added bonus, the thermostat takes up very little space, looks sleek, pretty, and futuristic!
