Very tough to get back online

Electrical went out and was never able to reset again afterward from a remote location.

Don't work with just one

Call company told me wouldn't work unless you had more then one. Hooked up woke two night in a row with temp 89 degrees. To me it's set to keep your bill cheaper. Who wants to sweat.. Not me. Returned it. Bad set up for thermastat. Had no choice but to return. Can't check wouldn't recommend. Choose for me. No DONT BUY.

Cannot turn off eco mode

We installed this unit upstairs for our kids. It kept putting itself in "eco mode" and letting the upstairs temp get to 82... Even with proper scheduling, and home/away assist set correctly, the only way to override eco mode is to manually set the thermostat to "hold" every day... tech support informed us Eco Mode cannot be turned off, so we replaced the thermostat. We have an older nest for our downstairs that works great, and eco mode can be turned off. Very disappointed that this new thermostat does not allow us to control the temperature as we see fit in our home.

While you can set your thermostat to Eco Temperature in the Google Home app, Nest Thermostat will resume your normal schedule when the temperature is next scheduled to change. Or, you can manually adjust to a more comfortable temperature at any time with the thermostat or the Home app. You can learn more about Eco Temperatures and how to change settings using this link: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9245535
