Like Nest - google not so much

I have spent hours trying to migrate my old nest and new nest products to google. All I’ve been able to accomplish is a migraine.Nest is awesome and flawless, google should name their version Messt.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

If you are getting error messages while doing the migration, you can check out this link for some troubleshooting steps: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9297676
There’s also a possibility that the Google account you are trying to use has already been registered. You can try signing in using your Google account. On the log on screen, choose sign in with Google instead of sign in with Nest. Use your Google email and password as your credentials. If you log in successfully using your Google account, you just need to transfer your devices manually.

Great thermostat from the right angles

Overall, a really great thermostat and very happy with the look and feel. Definitely recommend the deeper colored backing as it adds a nice accent color. The only loss of a star is that from most angles it's very easy to see the square display behind the mirror finish.

Great Product

Easy enough to set up my myself with intuitive instructions. The unit works well and after a couple of weeks, the learning thermostat has things figured out and will save me money over my old thermostat.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I downgraded from the nicer Neat thermostat after mine quit working. It was the 2nd time I had problems with it. The 1st time, Google sent me a new base. But since my other one was about 6 years old, I didn't even bother asking for a replacement.This new one is fine, but I do like the more expensive model a bit better...
I would recommend this to a friend!
