Great product at a great price!

I'm very happy with this thermostat. The instructions didn't say I had to have a "C" but I needed one so I had to do some rewiring

Easy setup

So easy to set up in about a half hour. I did need to add the power adapter (no C-wire), but the thermostat works just fine without it. So, if you don't want to check for the C-wire before you order and install the thermostat, no problem. It runs fine on the included batteries. The Google Home app will find it easily, and you're all set to program it to your needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Works well, easy to install

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved the packaging. The product was well displayed in the box. The instructions said installation would only work using Google Home. Having Google Home already on my phone I was instructed to take a picture of the code in the box and that started the process.
The installation process went well. The thermostat is installed and the feature of controlling it throughmy phone is tremendous. So far the Nest is working well.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Ok thermostat

Wasn't seamless connecting, had to search on line to find solution, needed common wire. App works great and easy to program. Controlling from the unit isn't a good experience. I stayed at an Airbnb recently that had the better version. Spend the extra money and get the best one.

Not compatible with 2 stage fans.

Returned the product. The literature states that it works with 'most HVAC' systems but it did not work with the 2 stage fan on our Lennox HVAC. This thermostat will only work with on-demand fans meaning that it will only move air when the heating or AC is running. If you also choose to have your fan on a low speed to circulate air continuously thru your home, this model will not work in that circumstance.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
