Love the Design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very easy to install following the provided instructions. Includes bubble level in the bracket to make sure its aligned. I would recommend the trim plate if you have a older thermostat. Once installed very easy to setup using the Home app. Very simple to use and set up schedules. I like that it knows when I'm home and away and adjusts accordingly. It does take a little bit to get used to the manual controls as they are a bit different. Very happy and great product

Must have for google home users However!

This is a must have for a Google home user. However the schedule and programing is horrible. Very complicated and very limited in options. Cant set more then 3 types of modes and most always be set to one of three types. There needs to be a broader choice for better tailoring the schedule to user preference. Also no widget for quick on phone temp reading. The user has to go to the home app then click the thermostat icon. Need lots of work on the app end otherwise easy install and easy setup. BTW requires 24vac or common from HVAC unit.
I would recommend this to a friend!

In some cases, particularly if you have a heating- or cooling-only system or use a zone controller, a C wire or other power-supply accessory may be necessary. After turning off all of the unwanted features I really like the Nest.It is nice to be able to change temperatures from my phone while I am not home or even in the other end of the house. I like that it lights up when I stop in front of it at night. Overall a great product.

Setup fairly easy. the Comfort,Eco a joke. If you want full control and just set it your self difficult.Every time l look the thermostat the setting is different on what l put it at. Also if you buy a Nest Hello you must disable it for Hello to find WiFi.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

After a minor problem with installation, the Nest is working great. I altered the provided schedule to fit my needs easily. It takes a little finesse to alter the settings on the thermostat itself, but the app is easy to figure out and use. After two weeks, so far, the programmed schedule appears to be working fine.

Easy install, easy use, no complaints!

Install took mere minutes, trim kit looks great, it uses the "Home" app, so like everything else in my house...it just works. I love the thing, and for the money you really can't go wrong!

Nest thermostat

It’s a thermostat and it works but it isn’t easy to use and is always being disconnected from the internet..I have a difficult time finding where to program and adjust the parameters so I can set it and forget it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
