Disappointed

After installing and thermostat running well for about a week, the thermostat has gone off line. It isn’t our internet because our other smart thermostat is online. Since we are away, we can not get it back online until we return. Disappointed!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I Love the Nest Thermostat

I Love the Nest Thermostat because:It's simple to installEasy to useIt looks great on the wallIt has the greatest and most useful features from the most expensive Nest model. Like the learning feature, motion sense and all the other sensors that give you great info about the home.

A great upgrade

After updating my central air unit, I decided to also update my thermostat and I am glad I chose Nest. It looks better, is easier to use, can be monitored while at home watching tv or while out and about and can be linked to the app of my electric provider. About the only issue I have is that I cannot set up a sensor to set the temperature based on a different room than where the Nest is located, so the temperature can be a bit uneven. Apparently the sensor that Google provides is compatible with other Nest devices.

It is amazing technology! I have no problem with it. It is always connecting to the app into my iPhone.

Great product. Wish it would display and record outdoor temperatures. That way you could look at energy use as a function of outdoor conditions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The G2 has a very sleek and gorgeous design. It fits perfectly with my decor. Easy to install and program. Easy set up and control through the app. I can manage when I am away so the house will be toasty for when I get home. I love it
