Exactly what we needed!

We got this to replace a 'copper brown' Honeywell circle thermostat from what seems like 1940 (if you know, you know lol). It had basically just become an 'on and off' switch as we don't think it was reading temp correctly anymore and our house had just become an energy waster. So far the new one has almost already paid for itself after a month, and we love the simple hook up and replacement videos and instructions. Not being contractors or handy-people we were surprised that we did it on our own!
I would recommend this to a friend!

doesn’t work. completely dead out of the box. spent hours trying to fix it - making sure wiring was perfect - bought brand new AAA batteries - never showed a flicker of life. useless. and now I have to waste more time doing a return.

Worst thermostat on the market - don't buy it

I have this thermostat for a couple of years. Recently it lost connection to the wifi network and ith has an error code stating the wifi has been disconnected. I tired to go through every items in the settings and I could not a way to setup the network again. I went through their instruction manual and there was nothing about reseting or changing the network. I Googled to see if there are any instruction or video to cahnge the wifi on this device and i annot find any. Also the swiping of the side of the ring to move the cursor is the worse design of any other devsce that I have used before. I have to wipe it many times before I can get it right. Did this people ever test their product before they put them on the market?

Loved the thermostat, but...

The Nest Snow thermostat looks amazing on the wall, much nicer and more of a designer look than most thermostats, BUT it lasted me a whopping 22 months before it simply stopped working. This is officially the worst lifespan of any thermostat I've ever owned.
Other than that, I gave it 3 stars vs 1 since the functionality and user interface was actually pretty good. Very straight-forward and easy to use. If you drop $180 (or whatever deal you find on it) just hope that it's worth the investment and lasts a good 15+ years like most other thermostats on the market!

Very poorly programmed, dose not learn your routine, away mode kicks in after 4 hours so wen you go out for a dinner you come home to a cold house.
Not well made

Worst thermostat

I was so excited to switch to smart thermostat. When i received this we immediately install it then 1st problem needs a power connector so we order it good things its free but hope they delivered it together with the product. So i need to wait for the power connector. While waiting changing battery is solution. Now everything is installed properly after a. Week thermostat is acting strange like no C wire detected, No power, m20 warning, N260 warning. We follow every troubleshooting but every now and then problem occurs again. Waste of money time and effort. So much trouble on this.
