Excellent Thermostat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this thermostat so that I could control it from my phone. This is really easy to install. You just download the google nest app and it walks you thru it step by step. I love being able to control my thermostat on my phone. It’s so convenient! I would highly recommend this thermostat if you are looking for one that is easy to install and use.

Works as Expected, Makes Life More Convenient

The new Nest Thermostat gave us trouble connecting to our network, and I am not sure what ended up getting it to work, lots of factory resetting and retrying. Eventually we got it working a day later. Since then we have had no issues and it has made our life more convenient. Definitely see a difference in our energy bill as well since we have slightly more control. Design and hardware is great, very clean, and study, with an attractive design.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not the Nest you know and love

Ordered the new Thermostat, trusting the name I didn’t think twice. Received the new thermostat and was not happy with the new features. Doesn’t connect to Nest Sensors, or the Smoke detectors, doesn’t connect to the Nest App. Didn’t think twice as I thought Google was a solid company. They do not stand behind there product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy install and setup

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been looking for a smart thermostat and after doing research decided on this one. I’m glad I went for it! It took about 30 minutes to install and setup. Much easier and faster than I thought considering I’m not especially tech savvy. The display is beautiful and bright. The touch screen is quick responsive and the app is very convenient. I can adjust the temperature from anywhere and I love that I can have the house a comfortable temperature when I’m returning from being away. It saves money and looks sleek.

We really like the idea of being able to set the temperature from our phones wherever we are. I don't have to get up and change it anymore. Also being able to apply the schedule has helped us so much
