This thermostat is complete trash

We've had this thermostat for about a year now and in all that time I have successfully adjusted the temperature from the app twice. It is always "disconnected" from our wi-fi, despite being less than ten feet from our router with no obstacles in the way and no connectivity issues with any other smart product in our home.
This isn't a smart thermostat, it's essentially a really expensive standard thermostat. I would not recommend this.

Good Thermostat for the money

Easy install, integrates well with app, aesthetically pleasing, trim panel is sold separately and sold out currently, difficult to manage controls without app. Programming is not totally straightforward.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This thermostat is awesome. Bought a new house with old school thermostat. We didn't have a C wire, which is NOT REQUIRED with this unit. The installation was incredibly simple yet thorough. The customer service is 10 star. I messed something up through the app and they were able to get me back on track within minutes. Very easy to use through the app, fool proof to set up eco and sleep presets. Excellent little unit, I would really and truthfully recommend to anybody.

Regrets after 3 months usage

The thermostat belongs to Nest but cannot be registered on Nest app.
We can control it over Google home app but the functionality remains basic
Worst of all this thermostat cannot be paired with any of the Nest temperature sensors
So don't be fooled with the paid reviews, buy a better version of Google Nest thermostat which is recognized in there apps or go for other brands.
I regret that I can't return this one now

Literally the worst product I’ve ever bought.

This is one of the worst functioning products I’ve ever bought. Everything seemed to work fine for the first month or so, but since then the thermostat won’t stay connected for more than 3 days.
I have tried every trouble shooting tip online and nothing seems to work, the thermostat is less that 10 feet from our router with no obstructions. Every time I check the thermostat after it has disconnected it shows the wifi signal is strong but the thermostat is disconnected from the nest server.
I’ve given up on this product. It just does not work. It will be going in the garbage and I’ll be going with a different brand.
Avoid at all costs.

It will work fine for months at a time….You will be plagued with intermittent error codes and if you live somewhere cold this terrible product could result in major damage to your home. DO NOT TRUST THIS PRODUCT!

We replaced our old thermostat with this Google Nest, it was a good buy with the discount and rebates. Simply to manage. Looks really nice.
