Not a comfy nest

Got a nest and no problem installing. But afterwards it keeps reverting to Away and going to 80. I travel and turned off proximity sensor. Also did for my wife but having issues w settings.Also don't like that you can't put it on Hold for longer times.Was much easier w our old programmable thermostat but couldn't control that from my phone. Well can't always control Nest from my phone either.....smh
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

To view, edit, or create temperature presets for your thermostat:
- Open the Home app.
- Select your thermostat on the home screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Temperature preferences.
- Choose Temperature presets.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nest Thermostat G2 is easy to install. Love that we can access our thermostat functions on our smart devices. No more getting out of bed in the middle of the night to adjust the thermostat. Very easy to check if the smart thermostat is compatible with your existing system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Looking for a change from our old type thermostat, I wanted to be able to control our system over WiFi. The Nest G2 is an absolute perfect addition to our home! I am amazed at how accurate the thermostat is and so many features. I really like that it shows outside weather. It senses when you come near it and turns on. It changes colors to when the heat is on so you know that the furnace is firing. It’s so easy to set the temp from my phone or change any of the great features. You can run many schedules that you control or it is set with defaults for your convenience. It’s great to have the ECO mode to save energy. Super easy to install and download the google app for total control. The app can also control your entire home. Works with voice control. Very well made! Can’t wait to get more google home control items!
