I have never had a thermostat that connects to my phone. I think it is pretty awesome. If you forget to adjust the temp when you go to bed, leave, etc., just get on your phone and make the adjustments. Our home energy supplier offered a great deal on the Nest thermostat that we couldn't pass up and we weren't disappointed. Thanks!

Love the simplicity of my Nest thermostat. Easy install and a quick connect to my Google home app makes it so easy to control from anywhere I have cell service. So glad I upgraded.

Simple and Amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have a "programmable" thermostat before I got the Nest Thermostat and let me tell you, that thing was terrible compared to this. To start with it is so easy to connect. I was initially a little nervous about doing it, but it walks you through every step. It couldn't be easier. Once its in, it gets even better. Now I can control from anywhere and it so easy to program (unlike my old one). The whole thing is even better that it's simple and clean and easy to understand. I can't imagine going back to my old style.

When my wife sleeps in too late I can just crank the thermostat to 85 from work and get her out of bed! Thanks Google!

Good, but

The thermostat that I have works well, the only problem that I have is that it does not activate when I come close to it. I have to touch it to make it come on. This is not that big of a deal It does not change the operation of it, it works well. It works wonderfully in the assistant and home home app. It is great except for that on thing and I hate to send it back just for this one tiny thing. The house warms up when it should and cools down. I do love that.

Really like the Google Nest thermostat. The physical display could be a little nicer but works fine. Also wish it didn't require a c wire like the older Nest models. Had to run a c wire adapter for this theromstat but not a huge deal.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
