Overall, I enjoy the product. Easy to setup up and navigate. My only little issue is the home/away feature doesn’t always work. Sometimes it can detect I am away and other times, or most of the time, it doesn’t.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Changing the settings

This thermometer works great changing the temp through Alexa but swiping the side to change any of the settings is less than easy. It is very temperamental when swiping, trying to get the correct setting you want. Could use some improvement!

-When you want to scroll and change the thermostat’s temperature, you swipe the touch bar up or down depending on your preferred temperature.
-You pause touch for half of a second (0.5 seconds) to prevent continuous swiping from the previous screen.
-Tap the touch panel to select an option from the menu or a setpoint.

A great smart Thermostat

I was first introduced to NEST thermostats in my prior home. I had a NEST learning thermostat and it worked great. In my current home, I have two furnaces, with one of them including air conditioning. The NEST thermostat installation instructions were simple, although I had some initial issues with the Google Home application on my phone recognizing the NEST thermostat during both installations. Also, I'm not sure why, but the thermostat wiring in my house is missing the C\Common wire. There's a workaround by using the G\blower wire, but now I can't turn on just the blower\fan. I double checked the wiring on my basement furnace which doesn't include A/C and was able to improvise the situation. However, the main floor thermostat wiring doesn't have the C\common wire - at least not that I've found thus far. Without the C\common wire, the battery life on the NEST thermostat is very minimal... I've already changed the batteries on one of the units. Overall happy.

Amazing

I have no skills when it comes to house improvements but I was easily able to set up this product. It is so pretty and improved the appearance of my house and it works amazing. Easy to set temperatures and helps to save energy

Energy Efficient for my Apartment

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a friend install this for me in my two bedroom apartment. He said it was easy to do and it took him about 15 minutes tops. This so so much fun to play with. I love being able to control it while at work or anywhere. My favorite thing is not having to get out of bed in the middle of the night when I’m freezing to have to adjust the temp. I just use my phone app and it’s done!

Very intuitive!

The Home App will step you through installing the hardware. That's the only hard part (but Google makes it as painless as possible). After that, setting up the thermostat and using it is very intuitive.

This is the latest feature to add to my smart home. Like to control from phone. Will be buying more for other zones.
