We have had a programmable thermostat for many years, but the Nest's integration with Google Home makes this even more convenient. The installation is ridiculously simple following the Google Home instructions.

Massive improvement over the other thermostat

Easy install, great to able to control from the phone, set intelligent routines...all this seems obvious now and wonder why other companies didn't have it in the first place

I installed two nests along with two sensors this year. They are easy to use and I know they saved me money. I spent three months in Az and previously I used to set my old thermostat at 60-65 to prevent freezing of pipes. This year I was able to monitor the inside temperature and adjust accordingly. I found that I didn’t need to keep the heat up that much and was in fact able to turn off the unit a month early thus saving on heating costs.

Don’t buy it they suck-never get connection. Also they alway power down on their own

Another great Nest!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have one of the earlier generation of Nests. This is Nest G2 is fantastic. As with the previous products, the install was easy. Videos online are great in case you're not feeling particularly confident. I like the lower profile nature of this version as well as the mirror finish. The app is simple and intuitive to use. I know there are quite a few other 'smart' thermostats now, Nest sets that bar and continues to be my favorite for it's simplicity and design.

Great Thermostat

I have found this change-over to three -3- Nest Thermostats within our home has yielded remarkable saving on our energy bill.The "presence sensing" features are great too ! I have them trigger all sorts of automation within our home, lights, music, etc.So glad I decided to go with Google's Nest thermostat
