Low battery needs to be handled better

I like most things about how this scale works. I find it accurate and repeatable enough. The pull-out feature is useful perhaps 0.5% of uses.... which means rarely. And that same pull-out feature sometimes makes it difficult to move around with one hand, since the front just pops off when you grab it. But those are small gripes. It is a great scale.
My issue is in how it handles low battery. I use Li primary cells in it, because I've wrecked too many expensive electronics with leaking alkalines. The Li batteries work great, and last a long time. But at the end of their life, there is ZERO low-battery warning. They go from full function to zero in the blink of an eye. Three times now when in the middle of pouring an ingredient into the mixing bowl. So when it quits, I have no idea how much I have in there, and things get tricky quick. It is frustrating. The voltage sensors need to be smarter than this, and understand that people are going to use several different types of batteries. I'm saddened to take a star off for this, but I have to.

Great features, but…

This scale is easy the use. But the stainless steel will scratch if you aren’t careful. Also, I was surprised that there is a power saver mode where the display dims after some amount of time. I discovered that tapping the lb/kg button wakes up the display.

Wonderful food scale

I love this scale. It warns you before it automatically turns itself off. It has a pull out reader so you can put a plate on it to weigh stuff and still see the weight. It measures in tenths instead of 1/8 or 100th, which is just the best, there’s nothing to complain about. There’s everything to brag about with this scale!
