I'm enjoying the phone, in spite of the issues.

I went from the iPhone 12 Pro Max to the Z Flip 3, and aside from everyone else in the family being on iPhones and losing that connection, I don't miss the Apple eco system, and them owning everything. My biggest positive for the phone is the folded footprint. It is no longer the device that puts my leg to sleep from obstructing my thigh to hip nerves. Another big win is the OS and being able to access my files from the phone, or my PC. The contact manager is now on par with that of Apple. Brave, DuckDuckGo, and Tor run flawlessly on Android, unlike Apple.
My issues after now 5 months of use are the fold in the screen is much more noticable, you can't reduce the image sizes anywhere on the phone (camera or otherwise), I'm having to restart it about every three weeks at this point, as it loses wifi connection, and the antenna is much weaker than that of my wife's iPhone 12 Pro Max. After now being in my pocket for 5 months the hinge grinds and sounds like an old man's knees when bending or standing. Unless there are a number of forward thinking changes to the next version I'll be forced back onto a fixed platform size (which sucks). The fold wrinkle has to go. Several foldables are currently addressing the crease, and at least one (Chinese) has a phone coming out Q2 of this year. Apple is always one generation behind on all tech, they no longer innovate, and by the time they release a foldable anything, it will be four years after the initial Galaxy Foldable. Samsung has now fallen to number 2 when it comes to innovation. Oppo, One Plus, Xiaomi, Hauwai, ZTE and TCL are now the bleeding edge. Oppo Find N and Hauwei Mate X 2 are being release with no crease, much better cameras and user controls.

This Is Great

For us older people, who love Flip Phones, this is a winner. It is a Smartphone with a large screen but folds up like a Flip Phone. It is the best of both worlds. It is a great looking phone and built very well. The display is the best. Well worth the money. Gaming is good too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Bought this in December of 2021, March 2022, Phone kept powering off, screen replaced, 2 weeks later, phone has gone berserk, opening every app, taking pictures and texting and posting things randomly, BAD DESIGN, phone that does not work. Recommend you buy something else…..

I love this phone, but battery life is an issue.

My wife and I each purchased a Zflip over 6 months ago. Because of the form factor, it has a smaller better than most smart phones. I love the phone's size when folded. It fits in my pockets better and I am able to take it with me when running more easily.
The screen is great and we have no issues with the area around the fold.

Love the phone, hate the crease

Love the phone, works great. I have had the phone since day 1 (8/2021), but there is now a crease forming in the fold of the screen. Just like a book would do after opening and closing it.

Overall a good phone (not the best in Samsung fam)

I have been having this phone for 6+ months now. Since beginning i've felt, this is the best form factor for a smart phone. It is simply amazing - the flip adds a cool factor.
However, I am not with a disappointment.
I am not sure if Samsung used low quality materials for this phone compared to flagships - the trade-in value for this phone is miserable compared to S ultra series. Price wise it is almost same as S ultra series at launch. When someone wants to trade-in, they would lose the advantage. That's one super concern for me.
Second, the cameras should have been much better. My note 20 takes far more amazing pics than this. Also, A71 5g (a much cheaper one) takes superior photos.
I want to keep the phone for its simplicity and the comfort it provides, but definitely want to trade-out for a better camera. Hence 4*.

Poor screen protector installed

The battery drains extremely quickly and the screen protector that was installed by the manufacturer starts to make creases and lifts up on the center within few months. Very difficult to find local service center to replace it for me so had to ship it for 2 weeks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
