Deceptive - no battery on 110V outlets

I bought this to have 110V on the go from the battery. It does not do that. Very poor instructions and no clarity. Some parts says 1000W max, other says 10W

However, you would need to plug the entire surge protector to a power outlet in order to use the two USB ports for charging tablets, phones, and other mobile devices. The unit does not have a battery nor does it act as a power bank for other devices. Berkin surge protection

I really like this swivel charger for charging in Canada, though reading the various reviews, I have the same problem concerning 220V. I will be travelling to Indonesia (220V) and now not sure if I will need a voltage converter or if I can just use this charger with the correct adapter for 220v.

I am having trouble charging my iPad Pro. I believe I need a 2+ Amp USB socket. What would you suggest?

This product features a combined USB charging output of 2.1 A. If your iPad is the only USB device that is connected to the Surge Protector, then you shouldn't have any difficulty charging it. Great, compact, portable USB charger

I have liked how I can rotate the postion of the USBs and wires stay away from getting knoked out, the only concern when I bouht it years back 1st gen it only had the 1 amp usb power which is very slow to charg and can't charg an ipad
over all I would get another one to keep in my office

Works well - Great in tight spaces!

I bought this years ago and find it's a huge help when I travel or even when I want to plug in my laptop anywhere around my house. The best was after we lost power with Hurricane Sandy and I went to a coffee shop in another town to power my laptop and phone. All the plugs were taken but I had this little Belkin with me - so those using a nearby outlet were happy to share it and one woman I ran into later said she went out and bought herself one. Great little travel companion even close to home. I wish they made a similar one for overseas. It's never been tested in a surge situation but it gives me peace of mind. I have an older version so it is slow if I have both my phone and tablet plugged into the USB ports, so I usually plug one into the plug instead.

I needed an electricity outlet that accommodated more than one plug also some USB sockets. I have restricted space for an inline set of sockets so I very pleased to see that this item can be plugged either horizontally or vertically. The swivel button was hard to get to use but once I did it is worked just fine. Because the plugs are the bulky type the socket set will accommodate two plugs only. But it fits in to my space as I wanted. One thing, because my plugs are bulky and thus a bit heavy the set is leaning a bit on the right. Overall exactly what I wanted. Just persevere with that button, there is a knack to it.
I would recommend this to a friend!
