Awesome debut, but hasn't kept up with the times.

I love this product. Have for years. I always have it in my backpack. I keep a spare at home and gave another to my wife. Bought them for my team at work... The swivel feature is fantastic.
BUT, it hasn't changed/updated with new tech. Its time for Belkin to make a new version with 100+ watts of USBC/ThunderBolt 4 charging.

Great Design - Needs An Update To Increase USB Pow

I've had this Charger / Power Bar for a few years now and it is a terrific design, it travels well and it used to work... BUT ... Now that more devices are coming out with USB C and high capacity fast charge batteries it doesnt work anymore. I just came back from a 2 week trip across africa where I travelled with a PC, Projector, Tablet and Phone. In the conference rooms, it was great for using 1 plug adapter into the Belkin unit and then plugging the PC and Projector into the N. American plugs. But the problem is with USB Charging. With a combined 2.4Amps, I could only charge one device at a time. Both the phone and the tablet have high capacity fast charge batteries and whenever I tried to charge both at the same time I got a "Slow Charge" error. This was a real problem when travelling for this length of time. Belkin, It should be an easy update to increase the wattage and the amperage with a Smart IC chip... That would take this great design and bring it back to current but as it stands now, I will not travell with it anymore and will find an alternative.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Would like dual voltage.

I love this product and have taken in on many vacations and three deployments. Often, I'm only given access to on outlet and this thing is a life saver. The only issue I have is the fact that it's not rated for 100VAC - 240VAC when most of my devices already are. I did however plug it into 220VAC for about a week before I realized it's not dual voltage. It did get warm but kept on working. Such that I need to plug it into a step down transformer first. But I still love this thing and take it everywhere with me. Even bought a few for gifts

Rotating button doesn't work

The 360-degrees rotating plug doesn't rotate on mine. I pushed the unlocking button but it doesn't budge and is stuck in one position. Other than that it works fine.

I bought this a couple of years ago, and found it very handy to take on cruises to charge multiple devices at same time. Its compact and easy to carry. The USB ports are perfect for charging my global cell phone that requires a USB connection. The only issue I have is when staying in hotels overseas, and only 220V outlets available. I've read reviews on message boards - some that say its ok to plug into 220V, it only reduces the surge protection, and other reviews that say don't do it. I actually did plug it into a 220V outlet last year, using only an adapter for the plug, without any problems. Maybe got lucky? I am a little worried doing this, but my equipment is all rated for 220V, maybe only risking this device?

At Home Use and 3 Months Travel in Europe

I bought this for home so that I could charge all my USB devices by my night stand.
Later I brought it with me on an EPIC European tour. It held up to all kinds of craziness, 220V outlets, and more. What an amazing product! The swivel plug was a really good idea that made this product super flexible for me.
Thank you product engineers for making a great product. I somewhat believe other users of the product do not know what they are talking about.

The instructions don't show that you have to press the white button to rotate the socket. You have to press hard with a knife or screw driver. It rotates fine, then.

Very handy gadget

I've had this product more than a year now. It's very convenient to have wherever you most often need to charge your devices, without loosing outlets.
I think this would also be a great option while traveling. The socket does turn, which is convenient if you have a socket in a tight space.
The only downside is that the device "wiggles" when you plug things in. I would totally recommend this, for travel, kitchen counters, bed-side tables and work stations (if you do not need more than 4 outlets.)
