Excellent buy

Although this shredder has had little use, it performs very well with day to day shredding.
Pros: Quality Construction, Safety Features
Cons: needs to be easier to empty .

Very Good Shreder

This is a very good heavy duty shreder. Great sheding teeth on the shreding head. Our other shreder thin shreding gears that bent and jamed. I am hoping to get years of shreding out of this heavy duty shreder.

Fast, loud, slows down a little when shredding plastic cards.
Would have like to know in the description that it needs to be oiled after every time bin is emptied. Probably would not have purchased it knowing this ahead of time. Motor is heavy, but the handle helps. Paper shredded is thicker than previous model.

P-48C Good and Inexpensive

Bought the P-48C at office supply store. Seems to handle most of my shredding needs. I wish it was able to shred CD/DVDs.
I have only used the unit for a week, so my 4 star rating is based on medium use over the past 7 days.
I would recommend this to a friend!

A vast improvement

It was such a satisfying change to operate a neat and tidy machine. First of all, it is quiet. Pleasant after my former disturbingly loud machine, also a Fellowes. It is reassuring to
observe its safety provisions and the limited feed for safety.
Handling it, at my advanced age, is much more convenient,
it is lighter and I can easily cope. Thanks for perfecting this
very likeable machine!

Best Christmas Present

I asked for a paper shredder, but I had no idea that I would receive one that is compact, durable, efficient, and just downright all around fantastic...and cute. Treat it with care and I believe it will last for many years.

I have used shredder befor this one is ok only thing is you can't use it for very long are it shut down you have to wait 15 to 20 min for it to cool down to use again good for a home if you don't have to shred alot .
