A nice solid shredder

I've only had this shredder a short time. Bought it to replace a worn out shredder from a different manufacturer.
I did some research, and decided to go Fellowes.
At this stage, it seems like a very good investment.

The shredder is living up to its claims. As it should be, I've had no problems with the operation of the shredder and I like the ability to easily look in the bin to see how full it is. With little kids running around, I like the ability to quickly and easily lock and unlock the shredder.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Safety Features, Secure Cut Size, Jam Resistance, Mess Reduction

Excellent Shredder!!!

I've always been confident of the Fellowes brand when it comes to its shredders. The Fellowes brand is a leader/innovator in shredding technology. Fellowes created the touch-safe patented technology that shuts-off automatically when fingers touch the shredder while shredding -- an excellent feature if used in a home environment with little ones around. The P-48C is easy to use, economical, compact & reliable. I would recommend the Fellowes brand to anyone & everyone. In fact, I've recommended this model to my parents!

good shredder powerful

I like the safety features on this shredder, there is a lock on the switch plus you have to put the back switch on to be able to shred. I keep mine unpluged when not used because I have a toddler running around the house. Does the job well for household use.

Better quality than last shredder

When my previous shredder quit working, I needed to replace it as soon as possible. I hadn't heard of Fellowes until I saw the display in my local office supply store. I was impressed and once I got my new Fellowes shredder home I was even more impressed. It was easy to set up and performs better than my last shredder.

Safe Shredding

I feel fully confident that the papers I shred will be totally destroyed and no one else will be able to re-construct them to find out information that is none of their business. The system works!
