3rd unit

This is the third unit I have used all the same brand. The first unit was only a single cut and for security reasons purchased a crosscut. The second unit worked well but had a small basket and tended to pick up the cut paper when the basket was full. The only way to check it was by lifting out the head and than pressing down the cut paper so that you could clear the head. This unit has some really nice features.
First is the big basket. Second is the window in front that lets one see it getting full and time to empty. Lastly is the on off switch located on the back of the head which give another safety feature so that my young grandson cannot operate it as he does not know were the switch is.
This is a well built unit and I am very please. The best of the three owned.

worthwhile purchase

This is an excellent shredder for home use.This is the 2nd shredder I have purchased in 10 years.I think Fellowes makes an excellent product.My other one was a Fellowes brand and it shredded 20 years of old bills before it finally quit working.This one has additional safety features my old one didn't have.It is an excellent product I would recommend to purchase.

Best Shredder I've Owned

I have a home office and use a shredder daily with moderate use. This is the best shredder I've ever owned and it is so quiet to boot. I have only owned it about 3 weeks, but so far I have no complaints what so ever. If you need one for home or small office, this is perfect.

The P48-C does exactly what it says it will do. Do not try to use too many sheets at one time.do what the company recommends. The product is strongly recommended by this user.

Fellowes always reliable

I had a Fellowes shredder in 2003 and it lasted for 6 yrs with almost daily use.Fellowes are very reliable shredders and reasonable price to.So when I decided to purchase a new one recently..I didn't have any doubt that I'll get a Fellowes once more.I
