Noisy, Noisy, Noisy!

I repair aircraft and am around a lot of noise all day and I find this paper shredder to be the NOISIEST machine I have ever heard! I wouldn't dare use this shredder if someone was trying to have a conversation or talking on the phone because the noise would drown everything and everyone out. The only other really noticeable flaw I noticed, there is no auto document feeder, which is a very good feature. Other than the above mentioned issues, this paper shredder has proven to be quite durable.
Pros: Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Secure Cut Size
Cons: Sheet Capacity, super noisy

Good for the money

I am very satisfied with the overall performance of my shredder. ,I shredded quite a large amount of paper ,some heavy in a short period of time,the machine performed without any problems.I found the machine a bit loud while in use,but otherwise a good purchase.
Pros: Sheet Capacity, Quality Construction, Shreds Credit Cards, Staples and CDs, Safety Features, Jam Resistance

no more jamming without music

smooth easy and no jamming so far,but still could be quietier I like to sleep while my wife shreds.

Fine little shredder

I previously owned anothe Fellows shredder that performed well for a number of years, but it finally needed to be replaced. I bought this particular shredder based on the positive reviews that were given on the store's web site. I have been quite pleased with it and, based on what I've seen so far, I think it will preform well for an extended period.
The one things I don't especially care for is having to lift the cutting portion of the unit off to empty the waste container. The model I had before simply required me to pull the basket out, empty it and put it back in. Also, the size of the container is a bit large for emptying into a standard kitchen trash bag, so the first three times I emptied it, the shreeded paper ended up on the floor.

Good Purchase

Bought this p-48c shredder online. I have only had this shredder about a month, however it has handled everything I put to it without jamming once, it has taken four pages at a time although it slows a bit, it's not as noisy as I thought it would be, and I ran it for quite a while without it overheating. Actually I took a break from shredding not the machine. Would recommend this to anyone needing a shredder for home use.

Great Home Shredder

My wife and I recently purchased this shredder to replace a previous Fellowes shredder that had finally worn out. This new one is even faster than the old one was. Plus it has safety features to lock it so that our children can't accidently turn it on! Love this new shredder!

Happy Accident

I bought this shredder online. Purchase was totally based on price. I needed a sturdy shredder but couldn't afford to pay too much. I have killed two inexpensive shredders while clearing out my mother-in-law's paperwork that has accumulated over the last 80 years.
Features I didn't know to look for but am quite happy to have:
Temperature warning (the last shredder I had overheated and I had no clue what was wrong
