Personally I find it reliable

So I've had this headset for 15 months and it's holding strong a full charge lasts it 3 days
It's range is about 4 yards with interference and it's been darn near indestructible
Only parts that have broken are one of the war mountings that I drilled back on and the mic but other than that it had endured being crushed slapped played with by a toddler and time

They deliberately make their products worse

I believe JBL has actively chosen to make their newer Quantum 810s worse to make users opt for newer models. for the last 5 years I've owned multiple Quantum 810s, all have worked fine. this week my last one broke so I bought a new one. the range of the dongle has gotten so much worse, it's baffeling. I used to be able to walk around the entire house and not have any problems, clear audio no matter where I went. now I can't even get out of my own room without there being a bunch of noise. at first I thought it might be a faulty product so I returned it and bought a different one of the same model. nope, this one is just as terrible. showing to me this is an intentional choise. JBL you're a terrible company that screws over it's users by deliberately making your products worse over time.
