DeWalt Hammer tacker - Stapler

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Comfortable and well built tool. This weighs about a pound + and is nicely balanced. It is about 13 inches long and the weight is biased well towards the head. The handle is comfortable plastic and carbon fiber. It also hangs OK in my metal hammer loop on my tool belt. This should last a long time of steady use.
It takes the common narrower stables roughly 7/16” across the top and in three lengths: 5/16”. 3/8” and 1/2” (8, 10, 12mm). Staples are available from DeWalt, Stanley and ArrowT50 almost anywhere. The base staple refill guide is about 10” long extending to the bottom of the handle. It will carry a lot of staples in one loading.
I use this primarily for hanging vapor barrier and positioning plastic film or paper for spray shielding and dust suppression etc. The hammer design makes quick work out of it and adds some reach with the extra 13” length. It also frees up a hand. This works very well and should last a very long time of steady use

Light...but heavy duty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've gone through a few of these over the years and this is the first one that is heavy enough to put through a hard days work, and isn't so heavy that I feel like I've been swinging a hammer all day.
Also like the fact that it will handle the 3 most common sizes of staples. Good buy if your in the market.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For many years have been using an electric stapler that worked good, but had to hold very tight against the wood too make sure the staples would seat all the way in. Got very hard on the hand when had many staples to use! Used the new hammer tracker to apply fabric to the wooden seats of some ice cream chairs and it worked excellent. A lot easier on my hand! Can't wait to use to install insulation at my daughter's house. Very solidly made!!!!

A great tool

I roofed the backside of a customers house on friday due to a tree falling and used this for the first time. It feels good in my hand and performed as expected. A few of my guys had there eye on it. May need to get a few more a christmas gifts.
