There is no feature to locate the remote if you missplace it and it is a lightweight cheaply made remote. The tape to mount the little box does not stick to the bottom of the TV, so the little box just hangs under the TV. The batteries that come with the remote lasted 2 weeks. It wasn't expensive and you get what you pay for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this Roku a while back to replace a previous Roku. The previous Roku was getting to old. When I set the new Roku up, I found it practically set itself up. This is great for me because I have trouble setting up electronics. I don't remember ever having any problems with either of my Rokus. It is a wonderful product.

I purchased three ROKU Express units for use with our TVs. They seem to work well. I am especially pleased with the fact that I don't have to watch commercials on the live TV channels that I watch.
