Very good product

Bought a fire stick first, which was very slow and cumbersome to maneuver. After two months it would break into whatever we were watching (even DVR shows to switch us to ads for other programming. We spent more time getting back to what we were watching than anything. We got ROKU and loved the ease of operation, with fewer steps to get to our shows. It has never “hijacked” the program we were watching. Only wish it had on/off and volume controls. Far and above better than fire stick!

Why'd I Wait So Long?

When Netflix dropped their support for older Samsung Smart TVs, I was desperate. Went on-line, and found an overwhelming number of comments to the effect that ROKU was more than good replacement, but would provide an all-around superior viewing experience. And is it! I just wish I had installed ROKU years ago! Couldn't be more satisfied!

Turned my non smart tv into a great tv

I bought this after owning an older express on a different tv ,and it turned my non smart tv into a great tv. It’s much better than the older model one I had and I’m extremely pleased with it it streams everything I want flawlessly and it’s faster loading than the older express. I recommend it for anyone looking to bring a non smart tv into the streaming age.

Great, except remote

The unit itself works fine and has great speed in loading Roku and apps. But the remote has a terrible layout with the mute and volume bottoms on the right side. With the Return button on the upper left, your right hand has to shift up to reach that button, and you hit the mute button every time. If you are left handed, then no problem.

We bought this a little over a month ago and are berry happy with the product and choices of streaming. We do not miss cable or the expensive charges for cable services.
