Our daughter as well as a friend encouraged me to buy Roku, so I did, but this review won't be much help because (a) we haven't used it much and (b) as a result I'm still very much a novice user.
I just got this about a month ago, can't stop looking at all the old shows from back in the day. I have 1 tv that came with Roku build in it, another TV, I purchase the roku years ago, a great thing to have if your cable bill is high.
The only reason I purchased it was so I could get Great American Pure Flix, which I paid for a year's subscription and couldn't get it on my Smart TV. When I first hooked my TV to Roku I was able to bring up Pure Flix and watch it for a month or so. Now, all of a sudden, it doesn't allow me to watch Pure Flix. It keeps wanting me to purchase a subscription, which I already have.
We work at a trucking firm with a driver's lounge and needed a device to allow drivers to watch TV while waiting on possibly long repairs. Multiple drivers have expressed their pleasure of having something to do during downtime.
