I own 3 of them, but upon rare occasions they will lag or lock up. Unplug/ replug fixes it. Probably every 2~3 months or so.

I bought this because my Tv was not responding to my remote. After I connected it to my set, I found it had no on/off or volume button. Very inconvenient

This means you'll need to use your TV remote to control the volume while using the Roku Express 3960R. Roku Express 3960R is compatible with Roku remotes with power and volume control. Easy set up.

I was able to set this roku up for my grandkids and parents. It was easy and love that i can download the movie apps for my family to watch while i am busy.

I bought this yesterday and no on and off button and no mute button! I have an old one and it at least has a on and off button!

These lack TV controls (Power and Volume), so you must use your TV remote to control these functions. The current line of new Roku devices is limited to the HD Roku Express. In addition, in Roku model releases, the non-plus(+) models are generally equipped with a simple remote.
