There is no way to control sound. You have to use two remotes

These lack TV controls (Power and Volume), so you must use your TV remote to control these functions. The current line of new Roku devices is limited to the HD Roku Express. In addition, in Roku model releases, the non-plus(+) models are generally equipped with a simple remote. However, if you wish to have functional access to your TV's power and volume buttons using the Roku remote, we recommend the Roku Voice remote. Hard to navigate through features wanting to watch

I bought this a few months ago but this doesn’t work smoothly anymore I like the older version it gives a customer freedom to navigate and see free movies this one you have to subscribe to major movie sponsors.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I was hesitant to purchase this device because of bad experiences with shoddily made electronic products I have bought in the past, but this product is fantastic. It performs as advertised, and is super easy to install and setup. Simple remote control, and easy to understand instructions. Allowed me to finally be able to cut the cord with cable. Reasonable purchase price too. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate to purchase this product.
