This unit is installed in the new camper we just purchased. It is installed close to the ceiling, so it would be nice if the louvers rotated vertically as well to prevent condensation from forming on the ceiling. I don’t like how the drain water drips down the side of the camper & I’ve been seeing something about the u it leaking water inside the campers, so an insert needs to be installed to funnel the water out. Seem like easy fixes, just would’ve liked to know before I purchased.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great little unit

This unit has been a life saver for me in the brutal heat way down in South Louisiana. My unit that normally cools house could not in the extreme heat. Therefore was hardly getting any sleep since the house never got out of 80's. Bought this unit for my bedroom and it has been a life saver. I can now sleep. I leave the unit on high cool and dial to 10. I keep my room dark.

Needed an affordable air conditioner for my daughters off campus college house. 2nd floor in August was very hot. Purchased in Maumee Ohio and drove it to Kent State. Very easy to install and simple to operate. All hardware to mount safely was included.

The unit performs well in my trailer, however it lacks "up and down" flow adjustment. Much of it's cooling effect is lost due to the angle of installation causing the flow to be lost in the ceiling.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
