Ok basic 5K BTU AC for average bedroom. Bought cheapest I could find for a temporary situation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A little disappointing in the cooling effect. We have it in a small room. On a very hot day it doesn't cool well at all. I replaced a very old air conditioner, and this one doesn't do much better, but it is quieter than my old one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We'd like to help you with the cooling performance of your air conditioner. We recommend making sure there are not curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front of the air conditioner. Additionally, check for open furnace registers and cold air returns.
