It saved my Life

Currently I live in a set of apartments that does not have central heat and air so it's approaching summer time and I had to get a window unit for my room it is very lovely is blowing out cool air and I am thankful for God and to GE appliances for making this happen for me

Works great! Nice controls. Easy to use and holds the temperature you want perfectly,
The only thing I would change is being able to control the outgoing direction.

As for the outgoing air direction, we're happy to let you know that it is actually possible to direct the air that's coming out. Use the lever to adjust the air direction from left to right. There's a helpful diagram of this on page 5 of the owner's manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-5000453.pdf&_ga=2.17261245.54425218.1647867254-1156894598.1645713472.

For the best cooling, make sure the unit is properly sized for the area, doors and windows are kept closed, and the filter is cleaned regularly.
